Annual Tree Planting Day & Thumbs Up for our Model Cleaners

Clean & Green Singapore – Tree Planting Day is an annual event which normally takes place in the month of November. This year, the decentralised events were graced by our various Ministers and Members of Parliament, grassroots leaders and residents in the respective divisions. We planted over eighty trees and palms at the following locations:

1) Between Blk 343/346 Yishun Ave 11
2) Infront Blk 335 Woodlands St 32
3) Yishun Town Garden
4) Open space near Blk 359A Admiralty Drive
5) Montreal Green Park
6) Open space Between Blk 420/421 Canberra Road
7) Open Space In front Blk 839 Woodlands St.82
8) Green Santuary @ Admiralty - Woodlands Drive 73.

Apart from planting trees, we also took time to say thank you to more than thirty “Model Cleaners” in our town. Each of them were rewarded with a token in recognition of their great efforts in helping us to keep the town clean. Let us say a big “Thank You” to these heroes behind the scene and a great toast to their great work done in our estates.
