Go Green at Canberra was a mass environment event held on 6 September at the Block 358 Link House. It was also the launch of "Go Easy on Utility Bills"

One of the most attractive features of saving the planet is the way you can save money while you do it. Reduce the electricity that you use and you have a smaller "carbon footprint". You also have a smaller electricity bill.

Put a litre bag of water in the flush tank on your toilet, and every flush is a litre less. And your water bill is less.

These were the kinds of easy-to-understand steps taught at this fun event. It also included a huge recycling drive, a display featuring our Town Council’s Green Plan, and an all-hands-on-deck neighbourhood clean-up.
